Realty Commissions can be flexible! My MLS® listing contract contains reasonable commissions at the start and further reduction clauses if properties sell quickly and/or if I find the buyer of the property (no 3rd party buying agent involved). We started working with Kevin approximately 3 years ago. Despite the difficulties we had finding exactly what we wanted, Kevin was always very patient with us. He never once tried to sell us something that was out of our price range or outside of our parameters. When we finally found the right house, Kevin dealt with the process quickly, professionally, and always with his own special sense of humour. When it came to selling our home, Kevin was quite confident he could sell it within a reasonable amount of time. Considering that there were 4 other homes on our street for sale and that they had been on the market from a couple of weeks to a couple of months caused us some concern. However, only ten days elapsed from teh time our listing went up on MLS until the sold sign was placed in front of our house. We had originally listed our home with Kevin Ramsay and, after a period of time during a quiet market, decided to list with a local larger Real Estate company. We wrongly considered that using a larger company would provide greater exposure, a wider advertising base and additional contacts. We soon realized that the prior service provided by Kevin was far superior to that offered by our replacement Realtor. Kevin's demeanor and personality had made us feel extremely comfortable and we didn't realize that he was totally on top of the current market conditions.
Although our house was sold with minimum advertising exposure and a total lack of communication with the new Realtor, we correctly ascertained that we would return to Kevin when purchasing our next residence. As it turned out, we did in fact purchase through Kevin and not only did he find exactly what we were looking for, he greatly assisted in ensuring that the home met our needs within our price range.

Kevin answered the bell in every way. He listened to my concerns, was alway in touch, and was never more than a few minutes from answering any e-mails. My mother and I wished to sell our heritage condo in Fairfield and re-locate to Sooke. We got in touch with Kevin Ramsay in September 2007 via a referral by a coworker.
