Real Estate humour

How about some jokes today?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

A client bought a new home and the REALTOR wanted to send flowers for the occasion. They arrived at the home and the owner read the card; it said, "Rest in Peace". The owner was angry and called the florist to complain. After he had told the florist of the obvious mistake and how angry he was, the florist said. "Sir, I'm really sorry for the mistake, but rather than getting angry you should imagine this: somewhere there is a funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note

Summer Sales Soften – Most Prices Show Little Change Sales of homes and other properties in the Greater Victoria area softened last month though prices for single family homes and townhomes showed little change. The average price for condominiums moderated somewhat. A total of 616 homes and other properties sold in July through the Victoria Real Estate Board’s Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) compared to the 723 sales in June. There were 922 sales in July of last year. Victoria Real Estate Board President, Tony Joe, notes that today’s balanced market and a larger inventory of properties for sale give buyers more choice and flexibility.

Hi Everyone,

During the course of my day to day activities, I occasionally come across potential clients suffering from what I like to call "My House Is A Castle" syndrome. While the following joke doesn't mimic this, there are some similarities.  (ps.  You have to click on "Read More" if you can't see the images)

Pokerface - the end

July 9th, 2008
I blame the 2007 WSOP.  They aired the final tables on ESPN last night and I watched and studied.  I was amazed at how loose the players were.  Huge raises and calls with lousy cards.  Is this how the pros actually play?

I blame Doyle Brunson's autographed book.  It cautions players against playing too tight.   I am typically a very tight, conservative player.

Of course, I blame myself.  I got married to a K-Q after the queen paired.  I went all-in.  I got called by an A-Q.   At least I made him agonize over the call but his hand won at the end.  I was making a comeback.

Pokerface - chapter 5

July 7th, 2008
Phew!  What a day!  10 hours of intense poker.

I started off well, winning a few hands and bringing my chip count up from the initial 20,000 to as high as 30,000.  But then my luck turned and I lost three times in a row with great cards (AK, AQ, QQ) and this decimated my chips.  After 8 hours of play, I was down to about 5000 chips.  Then I had pocket jacks, waited for a flop with a 10 high, and went all-in.  A New Yorker with K-10 called and doubled me up.  This gave me a bit of breathing room as I was back up to 13,000.  I didn't win another hand after that though.  I folded 33 and 77 and
